Objective:

The following video is a great way to introduce students to the use of the simple past. It provides learners with images and sentences to make it easier for them to understand without having to translate. Teachers can have students identifty the verbs in past and elicit them to talk about their previous day using them. By having the video as an example students would have a guide to start using the new grammar without having to turn the class into a grammar class.
